Frankly speaking, I can tell you there are studies showing you that skin starts suffering from a lack of oxygen quite early (from the 30ies) and other studies show you that the permeability of skin increase of 25 times if you have on your face a product with oxygen rather than the product alone because oxygen works as a natural vasodilator enhancing skin permeability to drugs delivery.
