I am confused by two things in this article.

1) You say: "Apply a foot powder (powder is better than corn starch, which tends to absorb the moisture, leaving a wet paste on your skin)." Then you recommend Dr. Scholl’s Deodorant Foot Powder with Zinoxol.

But when I went to buy this, the two primary ingredients were listed as Corn Starch and Zinoxol.

2) You say: "Use a spray antiperspirant such as Gold Bond Maximum Strength Foot Spray. Your regular underarm antiperspirant will work as well, but the aluminum chloride concentration is much lower, so it is less effective."

But when I went to buy this, the ingredients listed on the can do not contain anything with aluminum. And the product does NOT claim to be an antiperspirant. It merely claims to "absorb moisture."

Thanks so much for this - I would loove to know if you have tried these? Also, I have just found sweatguard.com and I am wondering if anyone has tried that product?

Thanks! Your advice is very helpful. But recently I found something completely new: Insoles made of cedarwood. It also seems to help very well against sweaty feet, smell or athlete's foot. For example, just take a look at zederna.com or google.
