Hi Oprah

OK, OK. So I’m not on Oprah, but I am quoted in her May issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, thanks to the generous Val of “Ask Val.”Now I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure Ms. Winfrey is not reading The Derm Blog this weekend; but, if you are, Ms. Winfrey, then please keep in mind:
- I am a lot shorter but in better shape than Dr. Oz.
- I am uncannily photogenic.
- I would never stand on your couch.
- I don’t have any books, creams, or body sprays that I am trying to sell.
- I love Oprah.
Even if I don’t get a call to fly to Chicago this time, there are some big things to come here on The Derm Blog. I can’t tell you what they are just yet, but it’s all very exciting. And Yellow. Hmmm.
That’s pretty darn exciting! I’ll have to go pick up the issue to check it out. Congrats!

Dr. Benabio I read about you in the Oprah magazine. To treat my acinic keratosis, I’m thinking of doing the ALA-BLU-U treatment this summer. Should I see a dermatologist first?
